Theatre
Though this is a relatively new part of my life, being involved in theatre has helped me develop skills of presentation as well as abilities to improvise when things go wrong. Enjoy this look into my work in this world!
Script
This is the most recent script I have written for a stage play that was performed at my University as a fundraiser for our on-campus theatre club, Campus Players. ‘Slim Jim and the 7-11 Girl’ is a short 15 minute romantic comedy based off of a song sharing the same name that was released by the Celtic pop group, Gaelic Storm.
Originally performed as part of the 2019 'Campus Players 24 Hour Writing Project' by Keller Montgomery, Julie Cash, and Michaela Hutcheson. Directed by David Clark.
*Contact me in advance to discuss the use of this play*
Pied Pipers
The Pied Pipers are an improvisational theatre troup under the direction of Dottie Frye with a target audience of Pre-K through 6th grade kids! Our performance repertoire includes children's stories and songs, Aesop's Fables, folk tales, fairy tales, poems, rhythm sections, and modern stories. We don't use sets, props, or microphones, and our only sort of 'costumes' are our brightly coloured overalls we call our Piper Suits. We know how a story needs to begin, and where we need to get to for the end, but everything in the middle is negotiable.
I have been with the Pied Pipers for three years and have performed in schools in Oklahoma, Texas, Florida, Arkansas, Missouri, Tennessee, and Scotland.
Scripted Shows
I have been in a number of scripted shows. I have experience in anything from five minute scenes, to one act and full length shows. I have been in shows directed by students and faculty of my university. These shows are represented on this page!
