Graphics & Illustration
While my illustration skills are still developing, there has already been a good amount of progress in the short time I have pursued this talent! Some of these are hand done with pen (or pencil) and paper, while others are done in Adobe Creative Cloud programs such as InDesign and Illustrator!
I worked with the freelance engineering concept and design company Ironic Mango Designs on their branding and logo re-design in order to help them break into a more modern look. After discussing with the client what they would want, we figured out the use of a monospace font and the ligatures that came with it could help to emulate the design and feel of the logo being typed into a computer terminal. As for the pineapple... It's not a mango. How much more 'Ironic' can you get?

A fun project I had the pleasure of working on was this yard sign for a local St. Louis Composting service: Componic. They wanted something that fit their existing brand, and provided an elegant and unobtrusive way to promote their services using the lawns of their clientele. I was readily able to deliver, taking inspiration from their logo and the distinctive circular decals they have on their provided compost buckets. Check them out Here! Created using Adobe InDesign.

I was fortunate enough to take a typography and graphic design class with my major, and was asked to come up with fun ideas for political campaign posters as a part of that. I immediately turned to one of my favourite characters, Captain America, and to a character I was working a lot with in my history class, Beowulf. Created using Adobe Illustrator.
For my typography class, I was tasked with creating a set of identical basketball tickets for my university's sister high school. Symmetry and clarity were key as I took on this design. Created using Adobe InDesign.
